Dry Body Brush

$19.95

Self-love, a profound concept, encompasses self-acceptance, kindness, and personal growth. At Green Essentials, self-love intertwines with self-care, focusing on both internal and external well-being. It involves dedicating time to enhance bodily functions, activate natural detox capabilities, and foster overall wellness.

Within self-care, dry skin brushing stands out. Similar to brushing hair or teeth, this practice gently exfoliates skin, boosts circulation, aids digestion, and potentially reduces cellulite visibility.

Benefits of Dry Skin Brushing:

  1. Detoxification: Unclogs pores, improves blood circulation, and stimulates lymph flow, aiding natural toxin elimination.
  2. Nervous System Support: Provides a refreshing, massage-like experience, nurturing the nervous system.
  3. Lymphatic Health: Stimulates lymph flow, aiding the body’s detox process.
  4. Exfoliation: Dry brushing naturally exfoliates your skin by removing dead skin cells. This results in softer, smoother skin and unclogged pores.
  5. Cellulite Reduction: Though largely anecdotal, many individuals report that dry brushing contributes to the reduction of cellulite’s appearance.
  6. Natural Energy Boost: Dry brushing in the morning can provide a natural energy boost, increasing circulation and setting you up for a great start to the day!

How to Dry Brush:

  • Select the Right Brush: Choose a firm, natural bristle brush.
  • Brushing Technique: Use gentle, upward strokes toward the heart, starting from feet and hands.
  • Sensitive Skin Caution: If sensitive, be cautious; aggressive brushing may irritate. If you experience discomfort, itchiness, redness, or pain, please stop.

Remember, self-love and care are essential; listen to your body’s signals for a mindful self-care journey!

Designed for dry use only, keep this item out of contact with water. Store it in a dry and well-ventilated area, and occasionally place it in the sunlight for brief periods to maintain cleanliness. Remember to fluff the bristles at least once a week to remove any accumulated skin cell debris.

Made from:
FSC certified Beech wood
Plastic free Sisal bristles

Please note:
The process involved is machine polishing the handles followed by hand polishing using sandpaper and applying a water-based, eco-friendly polish on the top.
Please note that the body brush isn’t intended to get wet or used in the shower. If it accidentally gets wet, we recommend allowing it to dry completely in a sunny or warm, dry area. In case the brush remains wet, there’s a possibility that the polish might come off. It’s important to mention that if the polish does come off, it is not harmful or toxic. However, rest assured, this won’t impact the bristles or the functionality of the brush; it’s purely an aesthetic concern.
